The exhalation filter can also be used with older versions of WPA nanomasks together with the exhalation filter adapter.
The new version of Nanomask 4.0 brings other improvements such as: improved ergonomics, a more comfortable fit, a molded front membrane and better tightness.
The story of the project
With the arrival of a new type of coronavirus in early 2020, we wanted to provide our employees with protective equipment against the infection. But when we found out after a few days that the protective equipment was almost sold out, we had to find a solution to protect our employees and thus production for our extremely demanding customers in the aviation industry. There was not only a shortage of masks on the market, but also filters and other equipment. At that moment, we knew that we would have to resolve the situation internally. We dedicated our experienced developers and technologists to the project of our nanomask, and after a few weeks we had the first prototype of the mask ready. Since the first prototype on the mask, more than 100 modifications have been made and we have invested over 7 million euros into the development. The masks have proven themselves with professionals from the ranks of paramedics, firefighters, police and police officers, as well as with the general public.
